Photographers That I Have Researched
Anna-Lou Leibovitz is a famous American portrait photographer, in the beginning of her career she started working for one of the most popular magazines which was called ' Rolling Stone', she worked there as a photographer. She received an award of The Royal Photographic Society's Centenary Medal and Honorary Fellowship in the 1980s, Her photography usually has soft lighting creating more of a natural look to the images. I noticed that the poses in the images are very natural and not over done which in my opinion is more
flattering having a soft light and natural pose rather than the usually poses that models do which are very unnatural and does not look realistic. The backgrounds
that he tends to choose are minimal and does not distract
the viewer
from the actual image especially when the images are very soft and natural looking.
Richard Avedon was an American fashion and portrait photographer, The New York Times mentioned him in their article as "his fashion and portrait photographs helped define America's image of style, beauty and culture for the last half-century". In 1946 he managed to buy his own studio and started providing images for magazines including famous Vogue. Not long after that he became chief photographer for Harper's Bazaar. Richard Avedon is known by photography in large prints, sometimes even over three feet in height. His photography is very interesting and mostly in black and white, he tends to use more of a soft lightening with not much exposure creating shadows and only portrait style (from shoulders up).

She also worked with plenty of celebrities like Donatella Versace, Marilyn Manson and Kanye West. Alice Hawkin's work can be found inLOVE, Vogue, i-D, Harper's Bazaar, InStyle, and Vanity Fair. Her photography is very revealing and erotic but at the same time intriguing, by looking at her images I can see that she likes hard lighting and very exposed images also the poses appear to be very sexy as the models don't seem to be wearing a lot of clothing. Her best work has been seen in compaing adverts like Diesel, Agent Provocateur and Topman.

Victor Demarchelier was born in New York City, his father is known as a legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier. He has built his client list quickly and started working for famous megazines which involved celebrity clients. He mostly shoots men showing more of a sexy side of them, his images are definitely more erotic however still tasteful and nothing is too exposed. He is famous for capturing images in the air. He tends to use more of a soft underexposed light, depending on the concept of the images some of the images are very underexposed creating many shadows which is flattering for more of erotic images when it comes to hiding certain areas of the body. He also did a number of excellent advertisement campaigns for Ralph Lauren, including their 2012 Summer Olympic Campaign.
Georges Antoni is an Australian photographer. His photography involves erotic but tasteful images they are usually black and white and has detail of high fashion. His work is also published in Dansk, Hero and Wonderland. his photography is very colorful he likes to play with colors and not settle for black and white, they are usually hard lightening images that can look over exposed however he likes to mix it up and use soft lightening every now and then depending on the image and the concept that he is trying to create. The poses are very simple and nothing to extravagant, he usually goes for a simple background however the simplicity of it is what makes those images so tasteful and sophisticated.
